Zhoug (Spicy Cilantro Sauce)
This week’s episode is all about Cilantro! Cilantro is a plant that comes from the same family of plants that include carrots, celery, and parsley. Cilantro leaves are sometimes called coriander in other languages and cultures. In the US we call the leaves cilantro and the seeds coriander.
Cilantro is native to Southern Europe, Northern Africa, and Southwestern Asia.
