This week’s episode is all about garden herbs. I talked about the benefits and possibility of making teas out of most herbs in the garden. My favorite teas were strawberry leaf tea and rosemary tea.

Here are some of the herbs we discussed:

Parsley: stimulates and improves digestion

Cilantro: has antioxidants that help decrease inflammation and may lower heart disease risk

Oregano: has antioxidants and is found to be anti-bacterial

Lavender: has a calming effect and is anti-anxiety and anti-inflammatory

Basil: has anti-inflammatory components and increases alertness when used as aromatherapy

Strawberry Leaves: have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory components

Raspberry Leaves: help with female menstrual cycles and to ease the pain of childbirth

Rosemary: has antioxidants, anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory components

Strawberry Leaf Tea

This can also be used with almost all herbs. Rosemary tea is delicious too!
