Mushroom Burgers
This week’s episode is about Vitamin D, also referred to as calciferol.
Vitamin D is important because:
It helps us absorb calcium, which is needed for bone growth, bone health, and bone strength
It reduces inflammation in the body
It helps our immune function
It may help regulate our moods
Sources of Vitamin D:
The sun
Food (fatty fish, eggs, mushrooms, and fortified foods like milk)

*I used almond flour in place of breadcrumbs. You may need to use more that 1 cup, to hold the patties together a little more if you use almond flour.
